For lunch, they gave us an appetizer board which had white sausage, potato salad and some other things in really little dishes. Mike had the carvery

which was several kinds of pork and Lesley and I had the lentil soup (which was good - had sausage in it) and the Beer Brewer Lye Baguette

which had ham and cheese in it. I just ate the cheese. We had

Then I tried to edit photos and use the internet. I would go to the AOL page, and see that there is an email there, but I can't get it to open because the internet is so spotty. Even when we are standing still. I've tried it in the middle of the night and it is still bad.

Lesley asked if I would like to go out and look around town, but it was cold and raining and I thought not.

Mike said he had too much meat at lunch and did not come to dinner.

So Lesley and I ate without him - we had
Tuscan Bread Salad

(which was a regular salad with some pieces of bread in it)
Cream of Parmesan soup

(very good), and I had
Sauerbraten

and Lesley had chicken. Then we had
Salted Caramel Cake

for dessert. I ate the caramel icing off the top.

Lesley went to the music museum - they go by a little train. But there would be some steps, and it isn't a guided tour and so I thought the better of it. She brought me back the photos of it.

Tomorrow we drive down the Rhine again to a town called Ludwigshafen, which is a 45 minute bus ride from Heidelberg. I'd like to go, but the tour is 5 hours and I know I can't do that.
