I have been to France before, but have never been to this area, so it was all new to me.

The cathedral has a big astronomical clock. When Strasbourg's astronomical clock was completed in 1574, it was considered to be one of the seven wonders of Germany. The clock calculates the date, displays sidereal time on the celestial globe and has a dial indicating apparent solar time (movement of the sun and moon).

Then Mike and Lesley and I got an Uber back to the boat for lunch. It took some time to actually find the Uber.

The food today was French.

Lunch
Appetizer - garlic snails, seafood salad, black olives, artichoke salad
Baked goat cheese salad

Lesley had Pasta Arrabbata
For lunch we had

Coq au vin, with mushroom croutons
and it was awesome - I ate all of it. (I have the waiters trained to know that after I have eaten half of something, I am done.)
Oven baked pear tart
This morning, when I tried to sign out, I couldn't find my room card. Apparently I had dropped it - after we went through every possible place I could have put it, we went to reception to get another one and someone had found it and turned it in.
From my room in the afternoon
Lesley took a shuttle back to town
