Chandelier in restaurant

We've had a great couple of days. We got up and went to breakfast - the same room we had dinner in last night. It was a buffet so Lesley brought me a couple of things from there- eggs, bacon, fruit, hash browns and some rolls.

And also some vitamin juice which was a mixture. .

I also had hot tea

I have seen three different ways to deal with tea leaves. At the hotel in Amsterdam they were in a tea press

In the place we ate lunch, there was a little metal triangular thing with tea leaves and you put it on top of your glass and poured hot water through it. Then you took it off the top of your glass and put it in a little holder so it didn't drip all over the table.

This place doesn't give you loose tea - they give you the tea bag in the glass of hot water

and there is a little dish over top of the glass. You take your teabag out of the glass and put it in the dish.

After breakfast the four of us (minus Mike) got into our fancy Mercedes van and drove over to where there was a little wooden train which I think was a cogwheel train.

The train went about halfway up the mountain and then we switched to a two story gondola. I stayed downstairs with the scooter (by choice)

Lesley and the ladies and the guide all went upstairs - the upstairs was open - no top roof or side glass.

After a bit, I went and sat in the restaurant area. Frederico asked me if I wanted anything and I thought maybe I would like a hot chocolate. Apparently there you make your own, so he made one for me and also brought a bottle of water.

We had a reservation to go down at 11:45 through AMA and they said they didn't need to see my ticket because they remembered me.

I went back to my room, and the other four took a walking tour and while they did that,

They tried to figure out where I could go to dinner that wouldn't have steps.

I wanted to revisit having fondue.

They said that the Restaurant Fritschi which had painting on the facade like they do in Bavaria was fairly accessible. So we went over there - I took photos of the big wooden bridge and the sunset on the way.

they gave me a fancy gingerbread cookie with the face of Rudolph on it.

I was going to save it, but I bit off three of the star points, and then before I knew it, the whole rest of the cookie was gone.

I found something in English on the TV, and then I basically went to sleep with both the TV and computer on. I waked up hearing a girl saying "You have to tell me where he is". I thought she was in the hall outside the room, but it was the TV. So I turned it off and took my pills and went to bed again. I didn't sleep well because the bed was saggy and my hip bones bottomed out and were became sore.
